Downloading Instructions
To download one of the above files to the desired folder on your hard drive.
I.E.	Netscape
RIGHT click on the file, Select SAVE TARGET AS from the window that pops up. Select the desired folder on your hard drive from the new pop up window. Then click SAVE in that pop up window.	Just hold down one of the [SHIFT] keys, then click on the desired month. Then save the file in a folder on your hard drive.
Online Viewing Instructions
Click on the Adobe button below, to download and install the Adobe Acrobat Reader program. Once the program is installed, either browser will be able to view files with the .PDF format simply by clicking on them! To view these newsletters online, click on one of the issues above. When the Adobe Acrobat page loads click on the bookmark tab, on the left side of the Acrobat Reader screen for quick links to the pages within the newsletter file. When viewing the pages click on the red type in the "Table of Contents ", the "Continued On ", and "Continued From " lines, to jump to those embedded pages.

Hello,
 Thank you for allowing me to create all the pages, which make up the new 
BUG Club's web site. For the last four years, I have spent a minimum of 8 
hours a day writing web pages! Within this time, I've had several 
opportunities to control the pages at the server level. This has been a very 
rewarding experience, as well as educational and challenging!
 When I rejoined the Club, I realized there was something missing! So I 
proceeded to write a proposal which described the procedure and costs the 
Club would need to acquire it's own domain name. At the same time, I searched 
for an appropriate domain name, and was pleased to find bugclub.org was 
available for registration.
 After submitting my proposal to the Club's board of directors, I was 
pleased to find an overwhelming level of enthusiasm in all the Club's 
officers! The board met for discussion in less than a weeks time, and my 
proposal was approved unanimously. They set a maximum spending limit of $225, 
and gave me full control to contact the host of my choice, so I proceed with 
the registration of the new domain name. 
 After choosing PowWeb.com in San Diego, CA as the host, I proceeded to 
create the new domain for the club. The cost for 26 months was only $201.48, 
well below the budget limit. While I was waiting for the Club's check to 
arrive and clear at PowWeb.com, I proceeded to create the initial set of 
pages for the New web site. Within my reach were two older web pages, and 
two old Newsletters. Just enough information to structure the pages to my 
liking.
 In order to see the new pages online, I choose to copy the first set on 
to another members RoadRunner homepage space. Then I emailed all the 
temporary URL's to the Bug Club officers, requesting they quickly evaluate 
them. Soon, several more pages were added, and after seven days, the Clubs 
check had cleared and the new domain was activated. By this time, there 
were 14 pages finished and I immediately installed them on the new server.
 With the server in full operation, an additional two pages were added 
along with some powerful serverside features! There is now a Guest Book, 
Server Statistics, Form Mail, and a Polling Script which allows for 
questioners on the pages! Setting up and installing the additional features, 
took me several days. Whenever possible, I search the web for new and 
interesting features which I can add to make the Club's pages more exciting. 
Currently, I found a Script set which when installed, will be an online 
calendar of events. This should simplify the posting of our meeting schedules 
and will be setup for online access by a club member, who will keep the 
calendar current!
 At this time, I would like to invite all members who visit the Club's 
web site, to feel free to send comments, suggestions, materials, and 
criticisms to me (webmaster). There is a webmaster link at the bottom of 
every page, by simply clicking on the link, you will be able to email your 
perspectives to me! Remember, this is YOUR club, and your voice is important! 
If you don't speak up, nothing will ever change!
