What is LAN?
LAN or Local Area Network is a group of computers and other devices connected over a short distance, usually within the same building. The connections allow all computers connected to the LAN or Network to access devices or information via one central computer (or Server). Transfer rate is from 10 up to 1000Mbps and allows fast flux of information or large files to be exchanged in a small amount of time.
