Home Phoneline Networking Alliance utilizes the existing copper line in residential dwellings to network computers and share Internet access. HPNA uses frequency range above 2 MHz, higher than voice and xDSL signals. HPNA 1.1 standard offers data rate up to 1.0 Mbps, and HPNA 2.0 standard offers data rate up to 10 Mbps. An association of industry-leading companies working together to help ensure adoption of a single, unified phoneline networking industry standard and rapidly bring to market a range of interoperable home networking solutions.
