| This is the mainboard in the computer that has the processor, the RAM, the BIOS ROM, the timing and control, the interrupt and direct memory access hardware and the keyboard interface on it. Modern DOS computers also have the Hard and Floppy Disk Drive interfaces and the Parallel and Serial ports built into the System Boards. Also referred to as a MotherBoard. |
